Photos and illustrations
All photos and illustrations on canvasscout.com were created for Canvas Scout with AI image tools, including OpenAI's image model through Higgsfield, on plans that allow commercial use. The people, storefronts and businesses shown are fictional. They illustrate how Canvas Scout works; they aren't customers, and they don't endorse Canvas Scout. Example businesses, scores and alerts in product previews are made up too.
The Canvas Scout name, logo and scout character belong to Reform Marketing LLC.

Maps
Map tiles in the app are provided by OpenFreeMap, using the OpenMapTiles schema, with map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. The maps on canvasscout.com itself are illustrations drawn by our own code, not real places.
Data
- Territory estimates use U.S. Census Bureau data: County Business Patterns 2023, the 2023 Gazetteer, and the 2023 metropolitan and micropolitan area delineations. Census data is in the public domain.
- County outlines in the app come from the Census Bureau's cartographic boundary files, packaged by the us-atlas project (ISC License).
- Business listings come from publicly available sources, including commercial business-data providers and businesses' own websites. Business owners can ask us to remove a listing.
